The Story

The story of Far Cry 5 takes place in Montana in the United States. You play as a Sheriff’s The Junior Deputy who has arrived in Hope County only to discover that the entire region has been taken over by a doomsday cult, The Project at Eden’s Gate. Your job is to help rally the locals into the Resistance, and take out the cult. Meanwhile, some locals will take the side of the militia cultists.
Once you load into the game, you’re taken on an explosive introductory 30 minutes that introduces you to the basic gameplay elements: gunplay, driving, stealth, and navigation.
The intro to the game sees you first enter the world of Far Cry’s Montana, where you’ll see why you’ve been asked to take down the deranged cult leader Joseph Seed

The Gameplay

Far Cry 5 is released in an open-world, giving players the freedom to do what they want (fishing, driving cars and plans, infiltrate, and many alternative methods to complete missions).
You can enter into any regions, complete any secondary missions you like or just following the main story ones. You have the opportunity to rescue civilians, destroy cult property, liberate outposts…
All of these actions will catch the attention of the cult leader in that region and increase your resistance points. As your resistance points increase so does the aggressiveness of the cult members in the region.

Far Cry 5 Characters

⦁ The Junior Deputy: is the protagonist in Far Cry 5. The Junior Deputy is the first player character in the Far Cry series who is fully customizable. The Junior Deputy is sent with two fellow sheriff’s deputies (Deputy Hudson and Deputy Pratz) and a US Marshal to arrest Joseph Seed, a radical preacher. Though Joseph appears to go willingly when they make the arrest, the situation quickly escalates when the cult responds to the arrest with violence. In the ensuing standoff, the other two deputies are kidnapped, and Joseph escapes. The deputy is then swept into an armed conflict between the Eden’s Gate cult and the rest of the Hope County residents. These include Pastor Jerome Jeffries, a Gulf War veteran and local church leader who has seen his congregation taken by Eden’s Gate; Mary May Fairgrave, a bartender whose father was driven to suicide by the cult; and Nick Rye, a pilot who aims to eliminate the influence of the cult in order to build a better future for his children. The deputy must use their help, among others, to build a local resistance to put an end to Eden’s Gate.

  •  Joseph Seed ( The Father): is the main antagonist of Far Cry 5. He is a ruthless megalomaniac who is the founder and the leader of the Hope County-based religious cult organization “Project at Eden’s Gate” alongside his siblings who he dubs “The Heralds”; Jacob, John, and Faith Seed. Eden’s Gate has used both coercion and violence to bring the existing residents of Hope County into its cult, as ordered by Seed, and, as of the events depicted in the game, is in direct conflict with The Resistance and its members.

  • John Seed: is a secondary antagonist of Far Cry 5, he was also the younger brother of Joseph Seed. John is one of the four main antagonists in Far Cry 5, with John taking the role as the herald of the Holland Valley region.

Probably, if not the most sadistic out of the four family members, John Seed is not a force to be reckoned with by most. He is known as “The Baptist” and wants you to see your sins and what you have done, literally. He is known to engrave your “sins” into your skin. When John was younger, he was taken into the kitchen by his parents and beaten senseless until all he could say was “Yes”, which is his motto throughout the game. He is hinted at being a masochist and is certainly a sadist. In a cut-scene, Joseph says that when he was a child, John was kind and loving, which made him an easy target for abuse and exploitation.

  • Jacob Seed: is a secondary antagonist of Far Cry 5, he was also the older brother of Joseph Seed. Jacob was the herald of the Whitetail Mountain region and head of security of the cult.

Jacob Seed was a veteran from the first Gulf War in Iraq. When he was a child, he often fought with his parents and stood up for his brothers, who looked up to him as a protector. He also frequently fought with Joseph and blames himself deep down for how corrupt things have become despite his ability to prevent it.

  • Rachel Jessop: better known as Faith Seed, is a secondary antagonist of Far Cry 5 and, she was also the adoptive younger sister of Joseph Seed. Faith was the Herald in charge of the Henbane River region

Faith is not this young woman’s real name, as Joseph mentions she was “not the first” to carry it. In-game dialogue from Tracey (is a character and member of the Hope County Cougars in Far Cry 5, as well as a phone recording from Faith herself, reveals her name to be Rachel Jessop. From other notes found in-game, she is the latest ‘Faith’ and possibly at least the third or fourth one; it is known a blonde named Selena replaced a woman with black hair, and the corpse of a woman named Lana was disposed of after her death. It is unknown if the black-haired woman and Lana were the same person, or if yet another woman wrote an unsigned confession of doubt.

Hire Characters

The player can choose from a selection of 9 secondary characters (will unlock by releasing some regions) to support him in his actions through a system of orders. Everyone has their own style and abilities.

  • The Story is really attractive
  • A world open from the start and very varied

  • A section of statistics is missing
  • A real protagonist would have been better, not us
